| Flatfield compensation is used to compensate for uneven illumination and variation in the properties of the imaging lens. In order to calibrate Flatfield compensation the camera is pointed at a plain white object which may be front or rear illuminated. | ||
| When the Flatfield button is pressed the camera then calibrates itself accordingly. The image can now be introduced. | ||
